The first Hunger Games movie was well made and was well received by fans of the series, despite missing some things from the book. Catching Fire remains true to this, but does it even better. In my opinion Catching Fire is the best book of the three in the series, and I suspect it will be the best movie of the series as well. Despite glossing over somethings and completely forgetting others, this movie is still just as impactful and action filled as the book. You feel the sense of urgency and panic that the tributes feel, and the direction and cinematography help you believe that you are there in the dome with them. The introduction of some new and important characters is done well, and I look forward to seeing the next installment simply to see how Sam Claffin and Jena Malone handle their characters in them.
