Rocksteady has revealed it's final game in the Batman Arkham franchise and it looks pretty amazing. We get to drive the batmobile through an expanded Gotham City and have a badass looking new villain called the "Arkham Knight". Details on the new character are pretty scarce, but today, Warner Bros has released a batch of new screenshots from the game giving our first full look at him, plus a few other goodies to oggle. Interactive has made an official announcement today on the next game in the Batman Arkham franchise, just minutes after a retail leak from GAME UK spoiled the surprise and revealed Batman: Arkham Knight for the next-gen consoles coming this year. A few weeks ago we reported that Warner Bros. registered a bunch of new domain names that seemed to point to another entry in the highly popular Batman: Arkham video game franchise. Now word is coming (from a top exec no less) that we'll actually be playing this game within 2013. Go ahead, get your excited faces on.
This may turn out to be nothing, but I seriously doubt that. These days, studios registering new domain names is typically a sign of announcements incoming (as what happened with the new C&C Games and several others). Over the weekend Warner Bros. registered a bunch of Batman domain names that points toward what could potentially be a new game (or even film...though we doubt).
