Soon after the prequel films finished up with Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas started making comments that he'd like to 'retire' and go back to making more experimental films in much the same tone as his original student film THX 1138.  Seven years later, that hasn't really happened as he's remained strongly invested in Lucasfilm and the projects being made from it.  Now though, he might be finally doing it.

No one WANTS to see The Three Musketeers 3D. Now, we all HAVE to.

Leaked footage reportedly from Lucasfilm has the internet abuzz today, which seems to confirm that George Lucas is working on a new Star Wars film! We have the video!

What’s that?  George Lucas is once again giving fans something they really don’t need and/or want, but will pay for anyways?  Woohoo!

During a recent screening for the Empire Strikes Back, Lucas has confirmed that the long gestating live-action Star Wars TV show has been put on hold.
