A trusted source over at SuperHeroHype has the scoop on one of the most anticipated trailers of the year.
If you're like me, you are probably about to burst at the seems in anticipation for the final Harry Potter movie to release. Warner Bros. is acutely aware of this problem and have created The Quest to help get you through the tough times.
Harry Potter outgained Rapunzel at the box office, but only by a hair, according to studio estimates. Even so, there were plenty of holiday leftovers for everyone, as the nation's top 15 movies all managed to gross at least $1 million over the Thanksgiving weekend of November 26 through 28, 2010.
The movie on everyone's mind is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. I got the chance to check it out over the weekend and had a blast. I won't go into a review here, mostly because others on this site handle that better than I and will be filling you up with reviews soon enough, but I find that I can't stay entirely quiet about the movie. In a movie filled with great acting, a wonderful story, and several masterful moments, it's hard to pick one scene above all that conveyed the ideas and theme best. There is one, however, that really stands out.
Before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, of course. Over the years we have grown up or grown older with Harry Potter. As the epic fantasy of wizardry and magic comes to a close with Part 1 of the Harry Potter finale The Deathly Hallows, I thought we could reminisce a little. I can’t fit them all in here because there are just so many darn amazing scenes (yes, I’m a fangirl!), but I did manage to pare it down to an odd numbered list. A unique number to be sure, but the Harry Potter franchise is a very unique kind of multilayered collection of films.
When sequels to big movies gets close, one of my favorite things to do, is watch the original(s) before going to see the newest entry into a franchise. It's just an easy way to immerse oneself back into the universe of that particular story and series, besides which it's also a good excuse for a fun movie marathon. Either way, I know I'm not the only film lover who thinks the same, and so does Warner Bros. That's why they're offering fans the option to watch all of the Harry Potter movies in any form they find the most convenient.
A special behind the scenese feature was shown on ABC as part of their Harry Potter week, and it showed some new clips from the film, as well as the scale of the battles.
The moment Harry Potter fans have been eagerly anticipating is finally here. The official theatrical trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is online.
With fans eagerly awaiting the trailer's release later today, some new images have come out that showcase the film's darker tone.
