Last year, a paltry three films were nominated for a best animated feature Oscar. That's because, unless a year has more than 16 films in contention for the title, the nominee count can be no bigger than three. Well this year a whopping 18 films are vying for the title. Which ones do we think will be nominated? Check out the full list and our predictions after the jump.
Summer 2011 is huge. I've said it once, and I will say it again. Because of the somewhat "overstuffed" nature of the season, it's rather natural for some films to be pushed out of the public eye. Not every wide release this year will make $200 million dollars. They could be huge movies, but they will eventually become the casualty of a crowded marketplace. It's sad, but true. So which films will rise up to the top of the mound and conquer the Summer Box Office? Here's our picks.

Football: America's Greatest Pastime. Wait, you say that's baseball? Well, look at those numbers again, kid. The Super Bowl was the most watched TV event last year, and it will probably follow suit again. Whether you like football or not, we're here to show you all the movie related TV spots of the Bowl as the came out. Keep hitting the refresh button throughout the night, because we'll be adding TV spots the moment they hit the interwebs. So sit back, relax, and watch some spots!
We already know that with this Sunday's big game there are several movies planning to debut or showcase their films for this year. It's something many of us film geeks are really looking forward to, as it'll be our first real look at footage from our anticipated movies. Now fans can get a taste of what's to come by releasing the full Super Bowl commercial for Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom.
I'm going to be totally honest here, and admit that I wasn't aware Dreamworks had already put Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom into production. I remember hearing some rumors and vague references to it over the past year, but nothing really solid. So imagine my surprise when I came across the brand new teaser trailer that had been released. Before you get too terribly excited, the teaser won't show you much, but I will say it was far more interesting than that Cars 2 teaser we got a couple weeks ago.
