Why Inception Is What Shutter Island Should Have Been

You might think it's unfair to draw comparisons between two movies that don't seem to have much in common, aside from boasting the same leading man, but they have more in common than meets the eye, and although they both started out on a level playing field 'Inception' has blown 'Shutter Island' out of the water. DiCaprio has taken us on two psychological rides this year and while one has the fans screaming to climb back on, the other fizzled and more enjoyment was derived from the anticipation of the ride than the ride it self.  In case you're wondering - Yes, there will be spoilers.
