In some very sad news for us Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans, today Paramount has announced that they are delaying the start of production on the film, and the film will now be released in 2014 instead of next year!
Paramount looks like they're serious about finally getting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot off the ground. A couple weeks ago it came out that Jonathan Liebesman was in talks to direct the new live action feature, and now the studios have even set a release date for it.
And just like that, a very prominent, very controversial internet rumor is laid to rest. Thank god for that; wasn't that weekend of suspense just killer!
The third Paranormal Activity movie is set to hit theaters everywhere October 21st, but if you just can't wait that long, Paramount is debuting the movie in 20 different cities 3 days earlier, and they're letting the fans decide which cities are going to get it.
So have you happened to catch the recently released Transformers 3? Most of you have probably seen that the film is making more money than...well everything. You may notice that both the Paramount and Dreamworks logo appear before the opening scene and with the movie making money hand over fist, you would assume this team would be around for a while. Turns out things are not so grand.
Somewhere in the farthest stretches of the galaxy, someone cares about this news. Even farther away, someone actually likes and respects the filmography of Stephen Sommers. Well, those people are in for a mighty big disappointment, because it seems that Sommers will not return to direct the sequel to the critically lambasted and Razzie nominated G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Alas, that Cobra will have to finish rising without him. More on Sommers departure after the break.
