Wanna see Ryan Gosling bloody, beaten, inflated, and wearing a pretty nice looking vest? Why, of course you do! See one of the first images of Ryan Gosling in Nicolas Winding Refn's Only God Forgives right after the jump!
(And no, that's not the picture at the top. But hey, there's a cool lion in that one! So that means something, right?)
How can an image be exactly what you would expect well at the same time being freaking excellent? Well, just ask Daniel Day Lewis.
With the Planet of the Apes franchise reboot coming up in just a couple months, 20th Century Fox has finally started ramping up the marketing for the movie. With a couple of sweet trailers, and new TV spots coming out, today they released a handful of new images showing off some seriously impressive visuals.
Warner Brothers is apparently doing their best to make up for the severe lack of Green Lantern advertising. Riding the wave of acclaim from their WonderCon footage, they quickly released two TV-spots, and today, they've supplied us with some high-res looks at the full Green Lantern costume, giving us our best look yet at the suit, and the new CGI they're bringing to it.
For the past week, set pictures of the new Spider-Man in action have been hitting the net. As you know, we here at TMP enforce a strict “overcrowding” rule, which basically states that we don’t want to write too many articles about one particular subject to better makes sure that the subject doesn’t get boring. We just don’t think that we should bombard you with multiple stories about a single film…well, unless it’s Tron: Legacy. Or The Dark Knight Rises. Or Gravity. You know what, scratch everything I just said, we were just being lazy. However, we decided that the massive amount of set news (which are in no way, shape, or form associated with the studio) can no longer be ignored. So hit the jump to find pictures, reports, and video from the set of the new Spider-Man.
The Emo Shag has returned...and it's ready to infect one of the biggest films of 2012.
At this past weekend's Spike TV's Scream Awards, Green Lantern managed to take home the award for "Most Anticipated Movie". A big part of me wants to agree with them, because there have been few superhero movies as hotly talked about as this one. The Internet practically explodes anytime new pictures or information comes out about it, so it seems a well-deserved award. When accepting the award, many viewers caught a glimpse of the Power Battery (or the 'lantern' from which they get their powers) as a set piece on stage. Many speculated that what was on stage had to be the new design for the film...now speculation can be put to rest.
