The new trailer for Super 8 hardly tells us a thing.  And I couldn't be more excited.  Check it, along with a new poster and synopsis, out after the break.

I thank god everyday that the Internet existed.  Without it, I would have to actually examine every single bit of information that comes out of Super 8.  Every picture, every video, every interview...everything would be a clue.  But with the Internet, I can just sit back, relax, and wait for my fellow movie geeks to find stuff out for me.  But does a recent shot disected from the Super Bowl spot indicate a possible trailer premiere date?

Concept art that is supposedly of the monster from J.J. Abrams' upcoming film Super 8 have hit the net. No confirmation or denial of the artwork has been forthcoming from Paramount, who is distributing the Steven Spielberg-produced flick. If this is the real deal, however, next summer can't get here soon enough.

Super 8, the secret project from director J.J Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg, has finally gotten a solid release date beyond “Next Summer.”  But it’s a pretty competitive one, to say the least.
