After teasing it at the start of this week, New Line and Warner Bros. have released the second official trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, so that eager fans of the franchise can gobble it up, with plenty of action and epicness you'd expect from the final film.

With Peter Jackson already a few weeks into the production of The Hobbit it's nice to get these little updates. And today's casting news brings in actors for a couple of very pivotal roles in the movie.
Fans of The Lord of the Rings who are eagerly anticipating The Hobbit movies sure have had plenty to cheer about in the last few days. Yesterday we got casting confirmations for Gandalf, Gollum, and Frodo, each of which have the original actors returning. Now, we've got yet another: Christopher Lee. Lee played the part of the evil wizard Saruman in the first 3 films, and he's confirming that he'll be back for The Hobbit.
Yesterday was a good day for fans of Middle-Earth. Not only did we get the official confirmation that Elijah Wood was reprising his role (last week they were just 'in talks') but now we've got word that the two biggest returning actors who fans have been most eager to see sign on, are now official. Gandalf and Gollum will be making a return.
