Desolation of Smaug Extended Edition Coming in November

As has been the case with all of Peter Jackson's films (especially where Middle-Earth is concerned), the previous The Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug is getting an extended edition.  Warner Bros. have now announced the details on the upcoming blu-ray, which includes 25 minutes of extra footage, and you'll be able to get it in your hands just in time for the final film in the trilogy.  Come inside to check out all the details!

First Trailer for The Battle of Five Armies Released

This December will see the final film in The Hobbit trilogy release in theaters, and fans of Middle-Earth and Peter Jackson's films have been anxious to see the first fotoage from the final movie, The Battle of Five Armies.  Attendees at SDCC were able to see the first trailer for the film (and we got a very nice poster), but now Warner Bros. has released it for all to see.  Come inside to check it out.

Peter Jackson's final endeavor into Middle-Earth with the third Hobbit film, The Battle of Five Armies, is set to hit theaters this December, but so far we've seen very little from the film.  Fans have been wondering when we might get our first teaser trailer, and now Peter Jackson has taken to his official Facebook page to assure fans it's already finished up and coming soon.

Third Hobbit Film Officially Retitled to Battle of Five Armies

Not too long ago, rumors started swirling about that the third, and final, The Hobbit film would be getting a title change.  Even back when the series was originally two films, it's been titled There and Back Again, a reference to Tolkien's original tale.  Turns out the rumors were true (even if they reported on the wrong title) and Peter Jackson has announced the film will now be called The Battle of Five Armies

Box Office Breakdown: Hobbit Wins Again While 47 Ronin Flops Hard
