New Cinematic Preview Revealed for Upcoming Video Game ‘Antonblast’

A cinematic preview has been launched for the upcoming game Antonblast and it is a sight to behold.

ANTONBLAST, the fast-paced explosive action platformer all about destruction from developer Summitsphere and publisher Joystick Ventures, blasts on the scene with a brand new cinematic preview trailer during Guerilla Collective, before it crash lands onto Nintendo Switch and Steam on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

The cinematic preview, running entirely in-engine, features the talents of Gianni Matragrano as Satan himself, who unleashes an all-out assault on Anton, who might be even redder. Use Anton’s Mighty F’n Hammer to demolish bizarre world, tussle with screen-filling bosses, and prove to be even redder than the devil!

ANTONBLAST is a fast-paced explosive action platformer that’s all about destruction. Play as the enraged Dynamite Anton (or his cranked-out coworker Annie) and use your Mighty F’n Hammer to demolish bizarre worlds, tussle with screen-filling bosses, and steal your Spirits back from Satan!

“One of our primary goals with ANTONBLAST has been to make the player feel as if they’re experiencing a living, breathing 2000s cartoon, and so injecting as much of our personality as possible into every crevice has been crucial,” says Tony Grayson, Fearless Leader at Summitsphere. “Our animated in-engine cutscenes are the furthest logical conclusion of that. Marrying our cutting-edge 2D engine tech with our crack team of industry standard animation professionals – not to mention Gianni’s unparallelled performance – allows us to deliver breathtaking game animation beyond pretty much any other cartoon title out there right now.”

Your mission in every level is simple: SET Brulo’s Detonators, FIND Anton’s Spirit, and ESCAPE before Happy Hour ends!

Antonblast arrives on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam November 12, 2024.
