Another villain is getting their own film.  This time, Warner Bros. and DC plan on giving Deathstroke (a.k.a. Slade Wilson) the solo treatment.  They've already got a star.  Now, they're working on getting an ambitious director.

Gareth Evans crafted one of the best martial arts/action movies around in the surprise hit, The Raid.  It's sequel has promised to be even better (and by accounts at film festivals) it is.  Yet, for as popular as it's become, it's still a foreign film, which means the US has been talking about doing a remake of it for a while now.  Looks like it's finally happening as Screen Gems has hired The Expendables 3 director to tackle the project.

The film is about a group of young policemen who raid a building run by a mob boss. The boss sits on the top floor for the apartment complex and the cops are at the bottom, making their way up floor by floor.
