Have you ever had one of those absolutely insane days that make you shake your head and say, “You just can’t make this stuff up?”  I can almost guarantee that Camino’s Mark and Jack have you beat!  As if a pregnancy scare turned into a guy’s beer drinking to blow off steam excursion was not enough, add in a cooler theft thought to be full of booze, but really turns out to black market organs and you have a whole other wild experience altogether!

Although the weekend’s new releases, Money Monster and The Darkness, performed above expectations it was not quite enough to score a victory.  For the second straight weekend, the box office belonged to Disney with the top two slots being claimed by Captain America: Civil War and The Jungle Book. 

It was a slow weekend at the box office, and although numbers were okay no one had any totals really worth bragging about, but The Revenant managed to win the race, beating out all the newcomers for the weekend.  

Three weekends have come and gone since The Force Awakens opened, and it is still going strong.  In fact, the total was more than double the second place gross estimate this weekend.  Not to mention how badly it spanked The Hateful Eight on its opening weekend.

As predicted, The Force Awakens retained its top spot over the holiday weekend.  Along with its other achieved records, the film has grossed over $1 billion dollars total now and just had the second largest weekend.
