We got not only an update on the follow up title, but a cool MMO style game set in the same universe.
Mundfish was at it again by revealing their new project, Atomic Heart 2 which will feature a new world, new story, and a bunch of new RPG elements will come along with it. Check out the trailer:
Much like its predecessor, Atomic Heart 2 is set in an alternate-history retrofuturistic universe. In this utopian world of science and technology, humans lived in harmony with their loyal and fervent robots. Unfortunately, what was meant to bring about an era of peace and prosperity at the hands of advanced robotics and AI, has now spiraled into chaos. Atomic Heart 2 picks up with a world on the brink of collapse. It’s up to the player to prevent it—however, beware, as the truth runs deeper than anyone may realize.

Along with revealing the follow up title, the studio also revealed that a whole new spin off title set in the same universe is also in the works. Details are a bit secretive at the moment, but the game is said to be an RPG MMO shooter set on a cube that is constantly changing, so the playing field will continue to evolve and dynamically change.

On the surface, it’s a geometrically perfect object, and in truth it’s an anomalous, shifting place swarming with vicious enemies.
