Crimson Desert Hits 3 Million Copies Sold And Mostly Positive Review

If you haven’t checked out Crimson Desert, you probably should as the game is blowing up the charts.

There was some slight panic at the studio of Pearl Abyss after early reviews of the game were a bit misleading, and causing panic that players would not enjoy their new release. Luckily people saw through the negativity and tried the game themselves, and it appears that was all the game needed.

Upon launch the game sat at “mixed” reviews, with a trend leading towards negative territory. A week after release and the game had risen to “Mostly positive” territory on Steam, with excellent star ratings on other storefronts. People are simply enjoying the game.

Along with the uptick in reviews, Pearl Abyss announced the game had crossed the 3 million units sold mark. They were celebrating 2 million copies rather quickly as well, but this seems to be showcasing the game is sweeping the gaming world, and quickly.

Helping the game grow is the passion the team is showing for the game as it already received its first major patch, meaning the team was working through the weekend to get things ready. The developers have also openly stated they are listening to feedback and addressed several concerns from players, with plans on how to correct several issues. The transparency apparently has made gamers feel more comfortable investing their time in the game.

Playing the game myself, the experience you will have is entirely up to you. We will have a review soon, but a quick hint is that it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had in gaming.
