It has been seven long years since we have had a new Ace Combat game. Fans of the franchise can rejoice as revealed at The Game Awards, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is set to release in 2026.

This reveal comes with some pretty big promises. Bandai Namco Aces Inc., which developed this franchise, says this new installment will elevate it to new heights.
Campaign mode puts the player in the role of an Ace pilot fighting for their homeland. The trailer offers an immersive, visually stunning experience with a deep storyline. The reveal also shows that there will be a multiplayer mode.
There is no set date as of yet, but we can expect to add this to our gaming libraries in 2026. Coming to PlayStation5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam.
