The latest Nintendo Direct was full of things to get hype about. Switch 2 gamers have continued to score as the console’s library increases, proving to naysayers that it deserves its status as a portable powerhouse. Now, those gamers have a couple of new old classics they can look forward to playing on the go, thanks to the Bethesda showcase.
During the Direct, Bethesda released a hype video revealing their slate of upcoming re-releases for the Nintendo system, including Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle coming soon, and the vaunted Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered sometime later down the line. You can watch along to see these reveals here as well:
While there is little in the way of new or unique content for these releases, the ability to replay any of these instant classics in a portable setting is a worthwhile consideration in its own right. Whether its hours of exploration or a well-paced narrative, players will have their pick of the litter on the Switch 2 before too long.
The Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition release for Switch 2 is February 24, 2026. The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Switch 2 release is scheduled for May 12, 2026, and the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered release is yet to be pinned down, but is planned to release sometime in 2026. Bethesda also announced that a physical edition (code-in-box) will also be available for those interested on April 28, 2026.
