‘Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse’ to Release in October 2026

We finally have a release date for the upcoming Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.

Konami announced yesterday that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will launch on October 15, 2026. Pre-orders for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, XBOX on PC and Steam® begin today alongside the reveal of the game’s early purchase incentives, pre-order bonuses, and contents of the Midnight Editions.

A brand-new trailer debuted during the Xbox Games Showcase, featuring new gameplay, a first look at additional environments and bosses, and the original artwork created by acclaimed illustrator and manga artist Katsuya Terada. The trailer reveals Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she battles her way beneath the catacombs of Paris and the dark halls of Dracula’s castle, showing the game’s exploration-driven combat, gothic atmosphere and signature game mechanics.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-based 2D action game developed jointly by KONAMI, Evil Empire and Motion Twin. The story unfolds in Paris, France, in 1499—23 years after the events of the popular series entry Castlevania III. Rose Belmont, daughter of the Dracula-slaying hero Trevor Belmont, sets out to defeat monsters whilst exploring the burning streets of Paris and Dracula’s castle, utilizing a variety of weapons and skills, including the sacred whip ‘Vampire Killer’.
