Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO Comes to Nintendo Switch Consoles in November

During the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Bandai Namco announced a release date for the Nintendo Switch versions of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO.

If you’ve been waiting to get in on the return of the Budokai Tenkaichi series so you can play it on the go, you’ll get the chance soon enough. During this morning’s Nintendo Direct, Bandai announced Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is coming to both Switch and Switch 2 this November.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO takes the legendary gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series and raises it to new heights with enhanced mechanics and immersion. Each character’s unique Ki abilities and signature destructive powers are showcased, bringing the anime’s explosive energy to life across every arena. The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions will feature local and online multiplayer and support for motion controls, allowing players to unleash their favorite hero’s attacks using the Joy-Con™ controllers.

 

Featuring the largest roster in Dragon Ball game history, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO includes over 180 fighters from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and select Dragon Ball movies – all available in the base game. Each character comes equipped with their own abilities, transformations, and techniques, giving players the chance to explore various matchups and strategies.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO hits Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on November 14, 2025.
