The February 2026 Sony State of Play showcase gave us a look at a ton of new games expected to launch throughout the year and beyond, focusing on 3rd party titles from game development heavy weights like Santa Monica Studios, Konami, Capcom and more, alongside a slate of indie games.

We got a look at the story trailer for 007 First Light, which releases May 27.

Beast of Reincarnation
Beast of Reincarnation launches on August 4.
From developers GAME FREAK inc. comes a one-person, one-dog action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Japan.
Brigandine Abyss
Brigandine Abyss is a new entry in the single player fantasy strategy RPG series, the first title of which was released on the original PlayStation back in 1998, and releasing six years after the Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will release sometime in 2026.
Set 23 years after Castlevania Dracula’s Curse – follow a young Belmont’s jouney in an all new 2D Action-Exploration title from KONAMI, Evil Empire and Motion Twin.
Control Resonant
Control Resonant releases in 2026.

Darwin’s Paradox will release on April 2 and the demo will release tomorrow.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round
The definitive edition of Dead or Alive 6 will release on June 25.

God of War Greek Trilogy Remake
The God of War Greek trilogy is in early development, so no release date is known at this time.
God of War Sons of Sparta
Santa Monica Studio hit us with the double whammy though — 2D action platformer God of War Sons of Sparta released on Wednesday.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends
We learned that Ghost of Yōtei Legends will release on March 10.
This supernaturally-charged, cooperative multiplayer update, will be available to all Ghost of Yōtei players as part of the game’s 1.5 update. With distinct character classes to learn and earn cosmetics for, three mission types to conquer and the promise of a Raid in the coming months, you better warm up that sword arm.
John Wick
You’ll be able to play as the Baba Yaga himself in Saber Interactive’s John Wick.
Created in collaboration between Saber, Lionsgate, and franchise director Chad Stahelski, the new “Untitled John Wick Game” will feature an original script set in the John Wick timeline, expanding on the franchise’s intricate lore with familiar characters fans already know, as well as completely new ones. Saber’s design will be faithful to the unique style and signature elements of the series, including a distinct gun fu combat system, jaw-dropping camerawork, immersive driving experiences, and a variety of memorable environments, all crafted to make players feel like they are in a John Wick movie, playing the role of John Wick himself.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora
The sequel to Kena: Bridge of Sprits is coming in Kena: Scars of Kosmora, giving us an older Spirit Guide Kena on her next adventure.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered
Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered includes updated HD visuals, refined controls, and a modern camera when it launches on March 3.
Marathon
Marathon will launch on March 5. Gamers will be able to play in the Server Slam weekend from February 26 to March 2.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls releases onto PS5 and PC on August 6. The State of Play revealed three new additions to the roster in the form of Magik, Wolverine and Danger.
Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 2
Pre-orders opened for the Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 2. the second installment of the collection featuring Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version).

Mina The Hollower will launch in Spring 2026.
Neva: Prologue
Neva: Prologue DLC will release on February 19.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition
Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition releases on February 13, with the classic 1995 platformer getting a definitive edition lets you play multiple versions of the original, take on 120 additional levels pulled from the bonus level packs.
The game will also feature optional enhanced gameplay features, an interactive documentary and a never-before-playable prototype, giving you an inside look at how Rayman’s gameplay was developed.
Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27 and we got a look at the game’s official launch trailer.

Konomi dropped a teaser trailer for Rev.Noir.
