This year’s PC Gaming Show had a lot to showcase, including the unveiling of the new trailer for Hello Sunshine.
Hello Sunshine is developed by Red Thread Games, the same dev team that brought us Dustborn, Dreamfall, and Draugen. It also announced that UK publisher Megabit would publish the upcoming game for its 2026 launch and that it has opened the game’s Steam page for playtesting sign-ups.
Check out the new trailer here:
In this mystery survival game, you were sold a better future, but delivered the end of the world. Living in the fallout of a corporate empire turned to sun-scorched ruins. You play as the final employee with a mission to reach the tower at the end of the road.
Along the way, you meet a robot that helps you traverse the harsh days by protecting you from the sun in the form of its shadow. During the nights, you decide. The bond with the robot is based upon your care for your metal companion. Will you continue to make repairs on the robot, listen to stories of wandering strangers to get the complete picture of how this world came to be, or simply see about your own needs to prepare for the next day’s travel?
With no set date for their 2026 release, fans are encouraged to join the upcoming playtest, which you can sign up for on their Steam page.
