In a surprise announcement this morning, Insomniac/PlayStation revealed exactly when gamers will get their hands on Marvel’s Wolverine.
Despite having a State of Play showcase just last week, Insomniac decided to surprise everyone today with news on their upcoming Wolverine game. In a—very random—social media post, the Spider-Man game developers revealed a release date!
Mark your calendars for September 15th and feel free to wishlist the game now. It’s a pretty solid release date, putting it at the earliest position in the Fall window (which they previously revealed), while still being well clear of the impending Grand Theft Auto VI release coming this November (supposedly).
Previously, Insomniac promised a fresh look at the game this Spring, so hopefully we’ll get our eyes on more footage and gameplay in the next few weeks. Regardless, getting a release date set down is pretty damn exciting.
Marvel’s Wolverine hits PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026.
