Return to the Dark Zone: The Division 10th Anniversary Showcase

Fans of the gritty urban combat of Ubisoft’s The Division surely already tuned in, but for those who hadn’t, yesterday’s 10th Anniversary Showcase had a lot to offer for those still in the fight after all this time.

For starters, The Division 2‘s Anniversary Season is now live through April 2, including free access to the Warlords of New York expansion content, a new Anniversary Event Pass with crossover Tom Clancy gear, global events based on the original game, and an in-game Anniversary hoodie just for logging in.

The Warlords of New York expansion itself received an update in Realism Mode, which, true to its namesake, removes health regeneration and the HUD while limiting ammo, skills and the overall UI to keep things tense and closer to simulating actual combat.

The Showcase also rolled out the roadmap for what’s next in store for Division 2, including PvP balances, expanded crossplay, and new Incursions, Classified Assignments, and DLC to come.

Not only that, we were also treated to the release date for The Division Resurgence, a free-to-play mobile game set in the universe of The Division, launching worldwide on March 31!

In celebration of this milestone, Ubisoft is offering a new Definitive Edition for purchase, available now, including both the original game and all of its expansions. Base version of both The Division and The Division 2 are also currently being deeply discounted to entice all new warriors into the fray.

If you have ever been on the fence about The Division, this might be a great time to get involved!
