Bandai Namco of America has released some great news for fans of the vampiric action adventure series Code Vein and its soon to be released sequel, Code Vein II. Not only is there an extensive new trailer to sit down for, there is also news of a demo (of a sort) on the near horizon!
For starters, take a peek at this extended “walkthrough” trailer that takes the viewer deep into the Sunken Pylon dungeon, a vast underground area that holds the key to purifying the accompanying Sunken City. Prospective players will also be treated to some footage of the new weapon types coming to the sequel: dual blades and halberds. You can click through right here to check this one out, but be warned that it is a longer one:
More than just a visual feast for fans, however, Bandai Namco has also announced that, on January 22, 2026, a Character Creator demo will be released. This will give players a whopping 64 save slots to play around in Code Vein II‘s expansive character creation engine, which was a much-vaunted feature of the first game that only seems to be vastly improved in the second. These save slots will also transfer directly into the final game, so you’ll have more than enough time to tweak and toy with your OCs until they’re picture perfect for the full release!
Code Vein II is scheduled to release in full on January 30, 2026 for the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
