Tekken 8 Teases New Season and Expands Roster

The most popular 3D fighter out there, Tekken 8, continues to power forward, allowing no controversy or complaints to dethrone it from its position as it moves into its third season. Bandai Namco have given us a new trailer showing off the details of this new season, including the most awaited mystery: Which characters would be inducted into the roster next?

Well now we know, and if you want to see the reveal for yourself, you can watch that trailer right here with us to find out for yourself:

The trailer is chock-full of information, not only unveiling the latest characters but also the road to the Tekken World Tour 2026, pitting expert players against each other in tournaments across the globe to find the greatest fighter of them all. It is, of course, the character reveals that are the star of the show here, and they hardly disappoint. The elegant ninja Kunimitsu as well as fan-favorite goofballs Bob and Roger Jr. all return in the year to come, with Kunimitsu appearing in the coming spring and Bob and Roger to follow in the subsequent seasons.

On a personal note, Bob has long been one of my favorite more modern-era Tekken characters so it’s a joy to see this high-flying fatty back in action.

The Tekken 8 Season 3 pass will be available to purchase on February 10, 2026, guaranteeing buyers access to the aforementioned three characters as well as a fourth character, released in the winter, to be revealed at a later date.
