The Emblem Among Us: Nintendo Releases Unique Mobile Game in Fire Emblem Shadows

In today’s news that no one was fully prepared for, Nintendo has announced and subsequently released a brand new mobile game, leveraging their popular Fire Emblem IP into a game that mixes the tactical combat the series is known for with… a social deduction aspect? It’s wild, but it’s real, and there’s a trailer you can watch on YouTube or right along with us here:

Well, it’s pretty much what it says on the tin, isn’t it? Apparently, players will choose which faction to portray between the “Light” and “Dark” camps, and the “Light” aligned players must determine through their actions in the simplified strategy game who is actually out to sabotage them. Whether or not you can will shift the strategy of the gameplay going forward.

Out of battle, Fire Emblem Shadows features two storylines, one from each side’s perspective, as well as a plethora of items, weapons, and magic skills to customize your characters with.

Fire Emblem Shadows launched today, and is free to try on both iOS and Android!
