Strange Scaffold and Paramount Game Studios have big things planned for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, the turn-based, turtley awesome new TMNT spinoff game that puts our heroes in the half-shell up against the forces of the Foot in minifig-style small unit tactics tabletop action!
It was announced today that the game, which released May 22 of this year to positive reviews, is being released this month for the Nintendo Switch as well as the Xbox Series X|S. The release date, August 14, will also coincide with a brand new Remix Mode update for the game, that will be included in the new releases. Remix Mode will bring along new enemy types, higher difficulty, and other new goodies for people looking for a new twist on the game.
Tactical Takedown is a great little bite-sized type of game that will fit in great on the Switch ecosystem, and Remix Mode sounds like a worthy reason for players who’ve already completed the game to come back and give it another spin. All of this bodes well for Paramount’s partnership with Strange Scaffold, which I can only hope means that we’ll see more collaborations between major studio IP holders and indie developers in the future!
