Three Xenoblade Chronicles games are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, and a brand new game is coming next year!
In big news coming out of this morning’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 are receiving Nintendo Switch 2 editions. The definitive edition of Xenoblade Chronicles is available digitally right now (June 9, 2026) on the Nintendo eShop.
The release schedule is as follows:
- Xenoblade Chronicles (physical edition): July 30, 2026
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (digital): July 30, 2026; (physical) October 1, 2026
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (digital/physical): December 3, 2026
But that’s not all! It was also announced that there will be a brand new Xenoblades game, titled Xenoblade: Genesis that will arrive for the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
Xenoblade: Genesis is the start of a new story in the Xenoblade universe, with more details to be revealed as the release date gets closer.
