Kojima has revealed the first poster for the upcoming game, and it sounds like it will be a long time before we see much more.
Kojima is celebrating 10 years of his new studio and took the time to talk about several new games. Besides Death Stranding and OD, the upcoming stealth action game Physint also made an appearance. What exactly does the name mean? We still don’t know.
What we do know is Kojima said he is working “by himself” on several concepts for the upcoming game. He notes “it is just the start” of production. Kojima also noted the games tech will be far superior than Death Stranding, and the upcoming OD, because of how it will release so much later. Kojima Productions is shifting full focus to OD, the upcoming Xbox partnered game, before shifting over to Physint.
So it’ll be a while, for sure. PS6 perhaps? Well we don’t know, no release window was given. This last summer when Kojima revealed the game to begin with he did mention its is “5 to 6 years away,” meaning 2030 is the absolute earliest we will see the game.
The game got a tagline “here comes the feeling,” but like typical Kojima teases, we don’t know what it means yet.
We don’t know what characters they will be playing, but the game also got a cast announcement. Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe all appeared to give video messages and announce they are taking part in the upcoming game.
