Resident Evil Requiem, the 9th in the mainline series, was announced with a stellar new trailer.
After an initial tease early in the show about a trailer coming “in the blink of an eye,” we were left a bit disappointed…. until a surprise reveal at the end of the show!

There is just something about Capcom’s stylistic hair that had me pick up on it almost instantly. I was quickly on the edge of my seat, and what followed is one of the best trailers I’ve seen in a long time!
The game has some minimal details currently, but it does seem to be changing things up again with the franchise, somewhat returning to the mansion of older titles.
The best part is that the game is releasing February 27th 2026, for consoles and PC.
Capcom was also celebrating the reveal along with the series hitting the 30 year anniversary, and the highly acclaimed Resident Evil 4 remake hitting 10 million players.
