If you’re excited to get the first variant of an Xbox, you won’t have to wait long.
Xbox revealed a landing page for the officially licensed Xbox Rog Ally device announced this summer. The device will have two variants similar to the Series consoles, with a standard and a slightly more powerful “X” edition.
The X edition comes with 24mb of memory, AMD Ryzen™ AI Z2 Extreme Processor, 1TB M.2 2280 SSD for easier upgrade, along with a USB4 and thunderbolt compatible slot, vs 2 3.2 USB slots. The standard edition is slightly less powerful with just 24mb of memory, no Extreme edition processor, and 512GB SSD.
The website doesn’t list a price, but it appears that some leaks and early pre-order pages have appeared. On Bestbuy the standard edition is listed at $549, the X edition is listed at a hefty $899, and there is a charger listed for $99. The case alone is listed at $70.
It’s worth noting that it is similar pricing to the standard Rog Ally X which comes in at $899.
Bestbuy has since removed the pricing from the units, but the accessories still have the price listed. Along with some employees confirming the backend still showing the suggested prices. However none of the pricing has been officially confirmed by Microsoft just yet.
The Xbox Rog Ally is set to release October 16th, so we don’t have too much longer to find out.
