Building upon Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s 28 Years Later, director Nia DaCosta has taken the reigns to give us a brand new look at what the world might look like post-zombie apocalypse in her latest horror outing: The Bone Temple. A new trailer just released today, which you can find here:

There’s a lot to take in here, just don’t look too closely or you might get spooked. If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks like we’re in for a mind-bending, pulse-pounding good time. The nods and parallels to the original 28 Days Later are a nice touch, as well!

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is set to release in theaters on January 16, 2026. Directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Alex Garland, it stars Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry. Danny Boyle is producing and Cillian Murphy is executive producing.
