The latest film in the indomitable Karate Kid franchise, Karate Kid: Legends, has just been made available to watch on digital services as of yesterday, July 8! Not only that, but the movie senseis at Sony have seen fit to couple this release with a major announcement: Next month, we will be treated to not one, but two different Blu-Ray/UHD releases of this epic martial arts showdown.
While there is also a universal release of the combo steelbook edition, the Amazon-exclusive physical release packages a box set of the entirety of the Karate Kid film franchise instead: All 6 films on 4k UHD, Blu-ray and digital, as well as hours of new and archival special features and exclusive collectibles. Notable amongst these features is the inclusion of the complete The Karate Kid 1989 animated television series!

For those who like their collectibles a bit more ostentatious, the Walmart-exclusive release foregoes the steelbook for a limited edition, collectible full-size skateboard!
All three physical editions will be available at their respective retailers on August 26, 2025. If you don’t want to wait, you can watch it today on video-on-demand platforms such as Amazon Prime Video or AppleTV+. For those still on the fence, you can check out our own review right here!
