Doctor Jekyll (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is Now Available

The original soundtrack for Doctor Jekyll is now available on all digital platforms.

The official Doctor Jekyll (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) with music by Blair Mowat releases today, October 27, coinciding with the UK release. Blair has composed well over two hundred scores for film, theatre, and television, with clients ranging from The English National Ballet and The Royal Shakespeare Company to the likes of BBC, SKY & ITV.

He is a BAFTA nominated, award-winning composer with over 15-years’ experience, and is consistently in high demand. His work includes Class, an acclaimed 8-part Doctor Who spin-off series on BBC One, ITV’s international hit show McDonald & Dodds and SKY’s The Amazing Mr. Blunden.

Said Blair Mowat: “It was a true privilege to compose the score for the first in this new line of Hammer Horror films, under the new ownership of John Gore. The brand has such a rich musical history and I’ve always been a fan of their classic scores, in particular James Bernard’s work. Fans may even notice that the main theme rhythmically spells out the title ‘Doctor Jekyll’, just as many of those films did in the past.”

ABOUT THE FILM
Dr. Nina Jekyll made herself a fortune in the pharmaceutical industry, rubbing shoulders with the elite and becoming a household name. But her success came at a cost, and after scandal forced her out of the spotlight, she now lives in seclusion with her demons. In need of an assistant, Jekyll hires Rob – an ex-con straight out of rehab, trying to get back on his feet. However, it soon becomes clear that there are evil forces at play, and Rob’s wits are tested in a game of cat and mouse with a mysterious and manipulative entity.
