First Trailer for Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ Has Arrived

Director Jordan Peele has released the first trailer for his latest horror film, Nope. The trailer does a good job of establishing characters and setting with a bit of shock value twists that make you think, “Is this about aliens?” and “Why does that woman not have any lips?”.

The film reunites Peele with OscarĀ® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and OscarĀ® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.

In Jordan Peele‘s first two films (Get Out, Us), he highlighted hypnotism and cloning. Now, it appears he’s going all in on aliens. I, for one, am so excited to see how he’ll approach this concept and to see the talents of Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya, and Steven Yeun on full display.

Nope is set to release in theaters on July 22, 2022.
