Samara Weaving’s troubles continue in the first look at Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, showing an even bigger, more bloody game of hide and seek.
It’s been a little bit since Ready or Not took audiences by surprise, but we’re finally getting a sequel next year. Today brings the first trailer for the horror sequel that looks to keep bringing the gore, craziness, and more importantly the fun:
Seriously, this looks like a hoot. While some of it, obviously, feels like a retread of certain plot beats there’s no denying how much fun it looks like everyone is having. With higher stakes and more background on the overall lore behind everything, I’m definitely digging what we’ve seen so far. Also, that Buffy the Vampire Slayer call-out was pretty great.

Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come hits theaters on April 10, 2026.
