The director of the 2016 neo-Western Hell or High Water, David Mackenzie, has returned with a new take on the heist genre. Fuze combines Heat and Hurt Locker as unexploded nuclear ordinance under the city streets of London becomes the backdrop for the biggest score of a lifetime. There’s no doubting the star power present in Theo James, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Gugu Mbathu-Raw and Sam Worthington, plus it’s hard to deny the chops of a director of a movie as well-reviewed as Hell or High Water. The tension is palpable, but will it set off a reaction in filmgoers?
