The first trailer for Robert Eggers’ next horror flick, Werwulf, has arrived to show off the director’s new take on the iconic wolfman story.
After wowing audiences with his updated take on Nosferatu, Robert Eggers is back this year to take on another classic monster myth: the werewolf. Today brings our first look at the new Christmas Day horror romp and yep, it looks much like you’d expect.
I’m eager to see how this story plays out. I greatly enjoyed Nosferatu and Egger’s storytelling style definitely lends itself to this period-based folk horror aesthetic. It looks interesting, unsettling, and I can’t wait for more.
