If you love ass-whipping martial arts action don’t skip out on this first trailer for The Furious.
You know what happens when you have a martial arts/action flick with Jo Taslim? Something beautiful. You know what you get from a martial arts movie featuring Yayan Ruhian? Probably more ass-kicking than you expected to be packed into a single movie. Together….well, you’ve definitely got my attention:
Seriously, this looks all kinds of incredible. Having a dash of The Raid, a sprinkle of The Night Comes for Us, and combined with a revenge story about saving people from human trafficking looks like we’re in for something magical.
After the daughter of Wang Wei (Xie Miao) is kidnapped by a criminal network and he receives no help from the corrupt police, Wei sets out on a rampage to find her himself. His only ally is Navin (Joe Taslim) – a relentless journalist whose wife has mysteriously disappeared. Fueled by a furious vengeance, the unlikely duo ruthlessly fights against the kidnappers in this explosive martial arts showdown.
The Furious is set to hit theaters on May 29, 2026.
