Colony, the latest horror/zombie flick from the Train to Busan director has a new trailer and it looks absolutely incredible. Check it out.
“New zombie movie from the Train to Busan director” is honestly about all I needed to get my butt in the theater. Seriously, it’s a phenomenal zombie movie and if you’ve yet to watch it, stop what you’re doing and get on that. Anyway, Yeon Sang-ho is back for more zombie action with his latest flick, Colony, and the new trailer is pretty great:
I love it. There’s classic zombie scariness going on here, mixed in with a touch of The Last of Us, Resident Evil, and maybe even a smidge of Evil Dead. It’s an interesting combination to be sure, but based on this trailer…it’s working.
Horror master Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan) directs a new Korean zombie thriller starring Gianna Jun and Koo Kyo-hwan. Professor Se-jeong (Ji-hyun) is thrust into a bloody nightmare when a rapidly mutating virus is released during a biotech conference causing authorities to seal the facility. Trapped inside with no escape, Se-jeong along with a small group of survivors must fight to stay alive while the infected undergo horrific transformations.
Colony is set to hit theaters on August 28, 2026.
