Nintendo and Sony Reveal Casting of Zelda and Link for Live-Action ‘Legend of Zelda’ Movie

In big casting news, Nintendo and Sony have officially unveiled the casting for Zelda and Link in the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie.

Earlier this morning Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that Bo Bragason has been cast as Zelda, while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will play Link.

Bragason’s past work includes Three Girls, The Jetty, and the Disney+ series Renegade Nell. Ainsworth’s past work includes the voice of Pinocchio in the recently released live-action remake along with a role in The Haunting of Bly Manor.

“I am pleased to announce that for the live-action film of ‘The Legend of Zelda,’ Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason-san, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san,” reads the post on Nintendo’s official account. “I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen.”
