The fourth installment of The Mummy series starring Brendan Fraser is officially returning in 2028.
After much speculation, it’s been confirmed that The Mummy 4, starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz is happening and is set for release on May 19, 2028. The film is set to be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
The film, excitingly, is set to reunite most of the iconic cast from the first two Mummy films, though the exact details are understandably being kept secret for the time being. There have been rumors that The Mummy 4 will feature Aztec mummies, but whether or not that’s true remains to be seen.
