The third entry in the X horror franchise has been greenlit by A24.
While Pearl, the prequel to X has only just arrived, A24 is wasting no time in moving ahead with the franchise as they’ve already greenlit a third entry in the franchise that will be titled MaXXXine.

The film follows Maxine (Mia Goth), after the events of X, as the sole survivor who continues her journey towards fame setting out to make it as an actress in 1980’s Los Angeles.
MaXXXine is produced by A24, Jacob Jaffke and Ti West and executive produced by Goth. Additional producers include Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss.
There’s currently no release date for MaXXXine.
