Disney has revealed a new trailer for TRON: Ares, giving us a look at Jeff Bridges’ return as Kevin Flynn, tons of action, and a glimpse at the overall story.
This morning, Disney offered movie fans a fresh look at TRON: Ares thanks to a swanky new trailer. Thankfully, it gives us a bit more on the overall story, but the stunning visuals and action on display are definitely stealing the show here:
Everything about this looks gorgeous. That final shot of the missiles launching out, and through, the city is jaw-dropping. Not to mention how slick everything else is looking, along with some solid action beats.
It’s also great to see Jeff Bridges again, though it does make me wonder how they’re going to address the ending of Legacy and it’s primary characters. It’s a good looking trailer, and the newly released song from Nine Inch Nails to go with it also whips. It’s a shame that Jared Leto is there to take everything down a notch (or two).
Grammy®-award winning rock band Nine Inch Nails composed the score for “TRON: Ares,” and today, the band dropped “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” —the soundtrack album’s first single and the first official music from the band in five years.

“TRON: Ares” follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
TRON: Ares takes us back to the grid on October 10, 2025.
