‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ Live-Action TV Series Being Developed at Peacock

The in-development Dungeon Crawler Carl TV series has found a home at Peacock.

It was announced yesterday by Variety that the live-action Dungeon Crawler Carl series now has a home at Peacock. While the existence of the series had been announced all the way back in early 2025, it hadn’t been announced where the series would be based.

The show is based on Matt Dinniman’s incredibly popular book series in which Earth is taken over by aliens and turned into a massive “dungeon” that can be explored as part of an intergalactic game show. The titular Carl is a Coast Guard veteran who finds himself thrust into the massive dungeon with the company of Princess Donut, his ex-girlfriend’s cat.

Chris Yost will write and executive produce the series, with Seth MacFarlane set to executive produce under his Fuzzy Door banner.
