As Wonder Man is set to debut, Marvel has offered fans a premiere date and first look at the next season of Daredevil: Born Again.
This morning brings a welcome surprise from Marvel/Disney in the form of the first official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2. We get a look at Kingpin continuing to solidify his hold over the city, something strange going on with Matt Murdock, and the return of Jessica Jones.
Lots to unpack here in this first trailer, but thankfully we won’t have to wait much longer to see how it all plays out. There’s also this really badass looking poster they revealed as well:
Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord and Matt Corman, the series stars Charlie Cox as the titular masked vigilante (aka Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Returning to the series are Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. This season also marks the long-awaited return of Krysten Ritter as fan-favorite Jessica Jones and introduces Matthew Lillard as the mysterious Mr. Charles.
In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.
The eight-episode second season of Daredevil: Born Again premieres March 24th at 6PM PT only on Disney+.
