Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Gets a Trailer and Release Date

During this morning’s D23 Expo panel, Lucasfilm announced an October release date for Tales of the Jedi, along with revealing the trailer for everyone to enjoy.

You can finally get rid of the bootleg quality Tales of the Jedi trailer from Star Wars Celebration earlier this year. Thanks to D23, everyone now has the chance to enjoy it in glorious high definition. And yes, it’s pretty damn great:

Tales of the Jedi is an animated anthology series of shorts, offering glimpses of familiar characters in all new situations (and time periods). Seeing a Padawan Qui-Gon with a pre-villainous Count Dooku is all kinds of neat. Not to mention getting to see YADDLE get some action. This looks to be a lot of fun.

Even better, there’s now a release date to mark down. Dave Filoni himself revealed that ALL of the Tales of the Jedi shorts will hit Disney+ on October 26, 2022.
