The Knuckles Live-Action Series Gets a Trailer and Premiere Date

Knuckles is back, along with the Sonic crew, in a brand new adventure that sees him take Wade under his wing as he undergoes a journey of self-discovery. Check out the trailer here!

It’s time to return to the Cinematic World of Sonic the Hedgehog (yes, that’s what Paramount is calling it) with our first look at the Knuckles, a six-episode spinoff series coming to Paramount+ this April.

I’m loving pretty much everything in this trailer. Honestly, I’m amazed at how much it manages to feel just like the Sonic movies (which are way better than they have any right to be), and love seeing so many of human characters making a return in more than cameo appearances. Combined with some new threats that will undoubtedly set the stage for certain things in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (coming this December), and there’s a lot to love in this first look.

The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3.

Knuckles will premiere April 26, 2024 exclusively on Paramount+.
