In recent years, several video game titles have been released that showcase a bright and extravagant vision of our near future. One such game is Cyberpunk 2077, which portrays a world that merges human and robotic life with advanced technology that was once only imaginable. Games like Cyberpunk challenge us to think about what the future could hold.

However, there are also games like BIOSHOCK and Fallout that merge technology with classic aesthetics and concepts. If anything these games gave us a look at the future that could have been. With that, Critical Hit Games (a new Polish developer) is bringing us a new look at their Neo-Noir Universe with their upcoming title Nobody Wants to Die.

Set in New York, in the year 2329, players take on the role of Detective James Karra as he investigates a murder that shines a light on many dark thinking happening in this sprawling city. What is interesting about this game is the concept, not only do we have great visuals that are powered by Unreal Engine 5, but we also have a 1930s to 1940s style that pulls me right in.

Though I know this is just the first trailer for the game, I am excited to see more from it as Critical Hit Games plans to release this game this year(if the gaming gods allow it). As more news on this game drops, check back here for our thoughts, reviews, previews, and more!
